Medication isn’t the only treatment option for ADHD.
We want our patients (and adults researching ADHD who land on our site) to have access to all treatment options, and we know that there is no "one size fits all" approach in the treatment of Adult ADHD.
Although our practice does specialize in treatment with medication, we also believe that there are other options for treating ADHD, most of which we recommend trying before medication, and even alongside medication.
Below is a growing list of resources and tools that can help treat the symptoms of ADHD without medication, often at a lower cost (sometimes even free!).
After first trying the alternatives to medication listed below, if you are not able to find symptom relief, then medication might be something to consider. An appointment with one of our ADHD experts does not guarantee that you'll be prescribed medication, but we feel it is the next best step if other treatment options listed on this page aren't working. But please, seriously, try the alternatives listed below first!
*Please note that the recommendations below are based on research and successful feedback from our patients. As a result, we must state that our practice does not claim that all or any of these options will result in guaranteed ADHD symptom relief. Please do your own research as well.
